PACE

Brain Training for Better Learning!

Is your child struggling with reading, spelling, comprehension, math, or attention?

PACE (Processing and Cognitive Enhancement) is an intensive brain-training program for ages 6–18. Instead of just reteaching schoolwork, PACE strengthens the underlying thinking skills that make learning easier. By focusing on the *how* of learning rather than just the *what*, PACE helps neurodivergent individuals, including those with high-functioning autism or learning disabilities, become more efficient, independent learners.

Through fast-paced, fun activities, PACE helps improve:

  • Attention and focus
  • Working memory
  • Processing speed
  • Auditory and visual processing
  • Logic, reasoning, and phonemic awareness

PACE is especially helpful for children who:

  • Are easily distracted or can’t sit still
  • Have trouble understanding or remembering what they read
  • Work slowly or leave tasks unfinished
  • Struggle with reading, spelling, and frequent “careless” errors
  • Seem unmotivated or disorganized

By training the brain to work more efficiently, PACE can boost performance in school and even in activities like sports and music.

FAQ

Tutoring is best for short-term support, like catching up after missed classes or reviewing specific subjects. It focuses on re-teaching academic content.

Our program goes deeper. We work on the root causes of learning challenges by strengthening the underlying cognitive skills. We don’t just teach *what* to learn—we teach students *how* to learn, and then how to apply those skills to schoolwork and daily life.

Most families notice changes within the first few weeks. Improvements usually show up in our sessions first, then at home and in the classroom.

We begin by building self-esteem, motivation, and reducing anxiety so students feel capable and willing to try. As their skills grow, their confidence and effort grow too.

The total length of a program depends on the type and severity of challenges, as well as how often and how intensively we work together. We can give a realistic timeframe after an assessment and program plan are completed.

Every learner is unique, so progress will look different for each student. Because of this, we cannot honestly guarantee specific outcomes.

We *can* promise that we will do everything we can to help your child reach their potential. If we believe our program is not the right fit, we will let you know and help you find other options.

We also do not require long-term contracts and have no cancellation penalties. Our goal is to be transparent and to offer services that truly support your child.

All sessions are one-to-one with an Educational Specialist. Our programs are multisensory, movement-based, and customized to each student’s needs.

Sessions typically begin with movement activities to help students feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn. The majority of the time is then spent in a quiet, private office, working directly on targeted skills with minimal distractions.

We use a variety of motivational tools, including end-of-session games and reward charts, to keep students engaged and working hard while still having fun.
